New Year's Resolutions Linky + Pin It to Win It!

Here's the adorable graphic with my abbreviated goals/resolutions!

 And now to expand on them:

 

#1 - Save $$! I, like every person in the world, have debt. :( It's no fun but it's part of life. I really want to put forth extra effort to save $$ this year. I need to pay off my debt a little quicker but I also need to be able to set $$ aside for a rainy day, something I haven't really been able to do. I'm determined to get my $$ under control though so that this can  happen!

 

#2 - Eat Healthier! I can openly admit that I'm not the healthiest eater! I'm a sucker for good, yummy food and let's face it, that kinda food is usually not the healthiest! I really want to try to eat better for my health and overall well being!

 

#3 - Move around! I'm on my feet all day at work of course but when it comes to working out or getting exercise at home, I fall short! I'm going to start with a small goal and hopefully work myself up to a more strenuous routine. For now, my goal is to get up and do some exercising each time a commercial comes on!

 

#4 - Avoid the Sunday Night Blues! I really need to do a better job of planning ahead for school. We all suffer from the Sunday Night Blues and part of that is unavoidable however it's always made worse by my procrastination! If I can get myself into the routine of planning a week or two ahead, I'm hoping those Sunday Night Blues won't be so difficult to get through! I just don't give myself enough time!

 

#5 - My last, but most important goal/resolution is to spend more time with my family! I feel that teaching, though I love it, often takes over my life. I have a 3 year old that loves to spend time with me and I often feel that I can't because I have so much work to do. If only people realized the sacrifices we make to teach THEIR kids. I'm determined to put the work down and spend time with my daughter and husband. I don't like the guilty mom feeling. And I want it gone.
